There are two routes that lead to Hidden Lake from I-440 and I-540.
- Exit Capital Boulevard/US Route 1 North.
- Continue on US 1 North six miles past Wake Forest.
- Turn right onto Bert Winston Road.
- Continue 1.8 miles on Bert Winston Road.
- Turn left on Hicks Road.
- Continue 1.5 miles on Hicks Road.
- Turn right on Cedar Creek Road.
- Continue 2.8 miles on Cedar Creek Road.
- Turn right into Hidden Lake on Arbor Springs Drive.
- Follow signs to the Lake House.

- Turn right onto Holden Road toward Youngsville.
- Continue 2.7 miles on Holden Road.
- Turn left on Cedar Creek Road.
- Continue approximately 3 miles on Cedar Creek Road.
- Turn left into Hidden Lake on Arbor Springs Drive.
- Follow signs to the Lake House.
